Idylwild Farm Bed & Breakfast
We warmly invite riders bringing their own horses for trail riding or intensive lessons!
Forty-five minutes from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Idylwild is located at the geographic center of the Delmarva Peninsula between the maritime attractions of the Chesapeake Bay and the Delaware Beaches. We are near Denton, Maryland and Bridgeville, Delaware. There is nearby highway access to make exploring this entire area easy and enjoyable.
Located in the area are fine restaurants, antique shops, and contemporary entertainment. There are opportunities for swimming, golfing,hunting, fishing, sailing, canoeing, wildlife preserve hiking, bird watching, bicycling... Entertaining regional festivals, antique machinery shows, auctions and other events occur throughout the year.

The modern home with rustic decor offers either a first or second story room for two with panoramic views of pasture, woods, and cultivated fields that change with the growing season.
Guest's horses have box stalls and a paddock of their own. Hay and bedding are provided by the farm. Guests bring their own feed and care for their stalls. Current negative Coggins and Ivermectin worming are required for visiting horses.
Idylwild Farm sports a turf Dressage arena, large sand ring, round-pen, modern barn, safe slip-board fenced pastures, jumps and an obstacle course. There are five lovely, big parks for trail riding in our area. Guest Information
· Two night minimum.
· Payment in full must be received two weeks prior to stay.
· Room rate: $150 per night.
· Your Horses: $10 per horse per night.

Bring your own horses for Bio-Mechanics Lessons or to Trail Ride:
For 1 to 4 riders and their own 1 to 4 horses, able to schedule at least one month in advance, the 2-person occupancy room rate is $90/night with a 2-night minimum.
Riders & horses of all disciplines are very welcome! Sorry, no trail rental horses available. Horses must be able to trailer-load quietly or be scheduled with us for trailer loading training in advance. See our Lessons and Equine Training pages for more info.
