Lisa & Matt collaborate to start and train horses for dressage, jumping, eventing and pleasure riding.
We treat each horse as if it is a personal prospect, keeping long term soundness of the horse's mind and body as our first priority.
We
take into account the individual horse's age, background, temperament,
learning strengths and deficits when we choose contemporary methods best
suited to training your horse.
We start with techniques from the ground to develop the horse's body and accustom the horse to safe behavior when being handled.
Low-pressure work at liberty, in-hand exercises, long-lining, and confidence building techniques are typically used.
We
encourage owners to participate in learning along with their horses.
